About The Event
There is a critical need for intentional convenings and conversations among farmers, particularly among historically underserved farmers of color to communicate, organize, and identify goals to impact policy change. Join us for an afternoon at Moonwater Farm for lunch and conversation among urban growers to connect, reflect, and identify a set of 2022 priorities among Los Angeles urban growers as well as identify continued conversations and actions to further these priorities. This gathering will also offer an opportunity for individuals to engage with their local elected officials. This space is being organized in collaboration between South Central Farm, SEE-LA, LA Food Policy Council, CAFF, & CalCAN.
Covid Safety & Protocols: This event will take place outside and we will be following CDC protocols such as masking and social distancing. We encourage attendees to be fully vaccinated and/or have a negative covid test before attending.
