California Nights

Join us at this workshop, in collaboration with CMS Wellness, for an evening of poetry, story, and writing with Micah Bournes. Micah is a Black American poet and songwriter from Long Beach, California. His workshop, Creative Writing As Holistic Health Discipline, will help us rethink our relationship to creative expression, seeing creativity not as a hobby or a career path for the extremely talented, but rather as a discipline like exercise or therapy, beneficial for everyone, regardless of skill level, and intended to help us maintain our mental and emotional well-being.
