About Our Volunteering Community
At Moonwater Farm, we’re not just cultivating crops; we’re sowing the seeds of regeneration for our health, community wealth, and the Earth. Our passion lies in offering education, hosting engaging community gatherings, healing through nature, and collaborating with like-minded partners who share our commitment to social equity.
This is a space where community members can collaborate with agriculture, share experiences, and foster creative expression. In a world marked by complexity and uncertainty, we find strength in collective solidarity, and we invite your unique voice and action to help us achieve our goals.
By volunteering at Moonwater Farm, you’ll not only contribute to the sustainability of our environment but also foster a sense of belonging within a vibrant community. Join us in sowing the seeds of change and growth.
Volunteer Duties at Moonwater Farm:
We welcome dedicated volunteers eager to make a meaningful impact. Our doors are open from Monday to Friday, and occasionally, even on the weekends. As a volunteer, you’ll engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, all of which contribute to the vitality of our micro-farm.
Land Tending & Gardening: Get your hands in the soil, make some compost, and help nurture the land. Participate in the art of gardening and gain hands-on experience.
Animal Feeding: Connect with nature and our farm’s animals. Join us in their care and experience the joy of tending to our animal friends.
Educational Workshops: Collaborate with our educators and practitioners as they conduct workshops that cover a wide array of topics. Whether it’s herbalism, cooking, art, or agricultural seminars, there’s a place for you to assist in sharing knowledge.
Community Engagement: Beyond the farm, we’re deeply involved in community activities and special occasions. Your participation is key to making these events memorable and successful.
